Shyft Group selected to join Ford Pro Upfitter programme

USA – The Shyft Group Inc of Novi, Michigan made two announcements related to its commercial vehicle upfitting business: it has been named as an official partner in the Ford Pro Upfitter programme; and it signed a deal with Model 1 Commercial Vehicles¹ to provide services across the USA.

‘Ford Pro Upfitter’ is the automotive manufacturer’s new accreditation programme, replacing its ‘Qualified Vehicle Modifier’ system. Accredited partners are contracted by Ford to provide aftermarket upfitting services: these include vehicle conversions for the police, emergency services, school transportation, utility and delivery applications, and for recreational use.
