Finland / Taiwan – Taiwanese electric charging provider, Delta EMEA or Delta Electronics, based in Neihu, Taipe, unveiled its new 500kW DC fast EV charger (UFC 500) at the 2024 Nordic EV Summit from the 4-5 April in Oslo, Norway. Tailored for both public and commercial HGV fleet applications, Delta claims that the UFC 500 can fully charge a 460 kW powered electric truck/bus within two hours, whilst simultaneously charging two EVs at up to 250kW each. The USP, according to Delta, is the power ratio versus its compactness/footprint ratio. This is largely due to the patented internal circuit topology.

Furthermore, the company offers the DeltaGrid EVM management system, aimed at efficiently integrating the charging infrastructure with the energy grid, ensuring sufficient energy flow. The system also manages the integration of renewable energy, putting excess power back onto the grid. This simultaneously manages the charging power needs whilst addressing grid challenges.
