Higer to supply 100 electric buses to Montivideo, Uruguay

Uruguay / Brazil / China - Higer do Brasil TEVX Motors Group Ltda* of Pecém, Ceará State, Brazil (a manufacturing and sales joint venture between China’s Higer Bus Co Ltd of Suzhou, Jiangsu Province, and local company, TEVX Motors Group Ltd of São Paulo, SP) has won a tender for 100 electric buses in Montivideo, Uruguay for CUTCSA – Companhia Uruguaia de Transporte Coletivo S.A.
The contract was signed at the end of February, in the presence of the mayor of Montevideo, Carolina Cosse, and the president of CUTSCA, Juan Antonio Salgado, the company responsible for operating 65% of the urban bus fleet in the Uruguayan capital.
