Solaris Urbino 12 electric with inverted pantograph for TLT

Poland / EstoniaSolaris Bus & Coach sp. z o.o. of Bolechowo, Poland recently delivered 15 battery electric 12-metre buses to the capital city of Tallinn, the first electric buses (excluding trolleybuses) to be deployed in Estonia.

The ‘Urbino 12 electric’ buses have been handed over to Estonia’s largest public transport operator, Aktsiaselts Tallinna Linnatransport (TLT). In the past, Estonian operators have relied on natural gas as an alternative to diesel: over the last twelve years, Solaris has delivered 350 CNG buses as well as 50 trolleybuses to Tallinn.
