FedEx orders 150 battery electric delivery vehicles from Shyft

Blue Arc battery electric step van by Shyft

USA – The Shyft Group Inc of Novi, Michigan has announced an order from FedEx Corporation for 150 battery electric step vans carrying the new ‘Blue Arc’ brand, to be delivered beginning the end of this year.

The 150 Blue Arc vehicles are Class 3 step vans which can carry up to 5,000 lbs in payload weight. It is based on a Class 3-5 chassis assembled by Shyft, incorporating an electric axle and a variable number of battery packs storing between 120 and 240 kWh.
