Tecnobus acquires Ferentino site from Valeo

France / Italy – Valeo SA, an automotive components supplier based in Paris, France, has announced the closure of its sale of its production facility in Ferentino, Italy to the local electric bus manufacturer, Tecnobus Industries Srl, for an undisclosed sum.

Valeo has owned the site through its subsidiary, ‘Ferentino Automotive Transition Srl’, since 1974, using it to produce HVAC components for Italian OEMs. However, as part of its general refocus on e-mobility, Valeo decided to sell the site to Tecnobus, signing a Letter of Intent to that effect in November 2023.
