DAF appoints Jeroen van den Oetelaar as Chief Engineer of DAF Vehicles

Netherlands - Dutch truck manufacturer, DAF Trucks NV has appointed Jeroen van den Oetelaar will be appointed as Chief Engineer of DAF Vehicles – think, the Adrian Newey of DAF Trucks - and member of the DAF Board of Management starting June 1 2024. Van den Oetelaar will be replacing Patrick Dean, who will leave to the U.S. to take up the position of Director of Paccar Electronics. Van den Oetelaar joined DAF in 2011 and worked in Program Management, Product Development, Operations and was most recently, Assistant Chief Engineer of Vehicle Engineering. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Applied Sciences in Eindhoven and an MBA from TIAS Tilburg University.
