DICV plans launch of Fuso eCanter in India within next 12 months

Daimler Truck Management with the new eCanter announced for India
India – Daimler India Commercial Vehicles Pvt Ltd (DICV) of Oragadam, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Daimler Truck AG, has announced it plans to bring its Fuso-branded light-duty electric truck, eCanter, to the India market within the next six to 12 months.
The all-electric eCanter for India is to be imported as a Completely Built-up Unit (CBU) from Japan, where the battery electric platform of the first-generation eCanter has been in production since the beginning of 2017. Since the world premiere of the second generation iteration in Japan, Asia Pacific and Europe in the second half of 2022, eCanter has been launched in some 100 countries.
