Tata Motors launches new 7- & 14-ton Ultra truck models on the South African market

Tata Motor's new T.9 & T.14 Ultra truck models in South-Africa

South Africa / India - Commercial vehicle manufacturer, Tata Motors Ltd of Mumbai, India in collaboration with Tata Africa Holdings Ltda of Sandton, Pretoria has launched two medium-duty truck models, the Ultra T.91 and Ultra T.142 for the South African market. The Ultra series is well-suited for various conventional and specialized logistics applications, including bakery, FMCG, white goods, agriculture, and construction.

Powered by Tata Motors' own turbocharged diesel engines – the Ultra T.9 with a 3.3 litre engine and the Ultra T.14 with a 5.0-litre engine – these vehicles offer a reliable solution for efficiently transporting heavy loads across long distances and challenging terrains, says the company.
