ACT Expo 2024: Volvo NA unveils ‘Truck-as-a-Service’ business

USA – At Advanced Clean Transportation (ACT) Expo 2024, held between 20-23 May at the Las Vegas Convention Center, Volvo Group North America Inc of Greensboro, North Carolina unveiled a new vehicle leasing programme called ‘Volvo on Demand’.
Volvo on Demand is the company’s own interpretation of the ‘Truck-as-a-Service’ concept, providing the customer with everything he needs to operate an electric vehicle. In exchange for a subscription fee, the operator receives a vehicle, Volvo’s ‘Gold Contract’ customer service, and add-ons such as insurance and planning consultation. Volvo NA technicians and sales personnel will help the customer with route planning, setting up charging infrastructure, and securing federal and state incentives.
