Scania Touring now compatible with LNG

The Scania Touring

SwedenScania AB, a subsidiary of the Traton Group based in Södertälje, Sweden, is now offering a version of its ‘Touring’ coach line that is compatible with liquified natural gas, extending the range to over 1,000 kilometres.

New gas-powered Touring coaches can now be fuelled with either compressed or liquified natural gas. The 13-litre engine delivers 410 horsepower or 302 kW and 2,000 Nm of torque. With the standard tank option storing LNG, the Touring can cover more than 1,000 km before needing to refuel.
