Einride orders 150 battery electric trucks from Peterbilt

USA / Sweden Peterbilt Motors Company, a subsidiary of Paccar based in Denton, Texas, has announced its largest electric vehicle order to date: a contract for 150 battery electric trucks from the North American subsidiary of freight and technology company Einride AB of Stockholm, Sweden.

The 150 ‘Model 579EV’ trucks were ordered through distributor Rush Peterbilt Truck Centers. With these vehicles from Peterbilt, Einride will begin offering electric freight transportation, including infrastructure and telematics, to customers in North America.
