Volvo receives order for 31 double deck coaches from Keolis

The Volvo 9700 DD
Sweden – Volvo Bus Corporation of Gothenburg, Sweden has received an order for 31 double deck coaches from French public transport operator Keolis, to be deployed in Volvo’s home city by the summer of 2025.
26 of the ‘9700 DD’ coaches will operate in express traffic in the city of Gothenburg, while the remaining 5 will be put on an intercity route to the town of Borås. They will join 22 coaches of the same type which are already operating in Gothenburg. However, the new vehicles will boast the latest ‘B13R’ engine from Volvo which it launched at the end of 2022.
