Truck sales and production continues to rise in Brazil

Brazil - In May, the Brazilian truck market continued its upward trend, with both sales and production showing significant growth compared with the previous year. According to the National Association of Motor Vehicle Manufacturers (Anfavea) of São Paulo, 9,547 trucks were sold in May, marking a 16.1% increase from the 8,223 units sold in May 2023. However, this represents an 11.3% decrease from the 10,758 units sold in April. Year-to-date, truck sales have increased by 4.8%, with a total of 46,785 units sold compared to 44,663 units sold from January to May 2023.
