Perrone Robotics launches ADAS kit for light to medium CVs

USA – Perrone Robotics Inc of Charlottesville, Virginia has launched a suite of advanced driver assistance systems, based on its core autonomous driving technology, for light- to medium-duty commercial vehicles as an OEM and aftermarket solution.
The ‘TONY ADAS Kit’ – derived from the ‘To Navigate You’ autonomous vehicle hardware and software kit which is Perrone’s flagship product – provides the following active safety features: forward collision avoidance; pedestrian detection/avoidance; lane departure warning/correction; and automatic emergency braking. The kit also features a blind spot detection system, providing aural and visual alerts, and adaptive cruise control which maintains a safe distance from the vehicle in front by adjusting the vehicle speed automatically.
