Parker Hannifin launches new motor with improved power-to-weight ratio

USA – In July, Parker Hannifin Corporation of Mayfield Heights, Ohio expanded its range of electric motors with two new products, boasting greater power density and improved efficiency for on- and off-road applications.

Parker has extended its portfolio of ‘Global Vehicle Motors’ with the ‘GVM310’, which comes in two sizes (300 and 400 lamination stack lengths). With continuous power of 351 kW and peak power of 850 kW, the GVM310 is designed for applications such as commercial on-road, construction, material handling, forestry, and mining, while weighing only 230 kilograms.
