FPT opens customer service academy in Turin

Italy - FPT Industrial of Turin, Italy, (owned by the Iveco Group), has recently opened a 30,000 square foot customer service area at its facility in Turin. The facility houses a diagnostics lab and tear-down area with staff responsible for training service engineers on product maintenance and repair, remote diagnostics and engine optimisation. This space will also be used to introduce new products to customers, distributors and students. Apart from traditional ICE engines, service engineers will also be trained to diagnose and fix e-axles and batteries. The company states that over 300 technicians are enrolled for the Advanced Technical Training course which features over 4000 training modules and five levels of training which can be accessed in person or remotely thanks to the state-of-the-art technology installed at the centre.
