SI Airsprings acquires Italy’s Roberto Nuti Group
Italy / India – SI Airsprings Pvt Ltd* of Chennai, a subsidiary of TVS Mobility, has acquired Roberto Nuti Group of Castelguelfo, Bologna, Italy, a leading Italian manufacturer of aftermarket suspension systems (shock absorbers and air springs) for heavy vehicles including on-road trucks.
The transaction, which was finalized on June 28, 2024, marks a significant expansion for the company, said SI Airsprings. Its parent, TVS Mobility, a USD3 billion Indian conglomerate, already has a strong European presence through TVS Supply Chain Solutions Ltd (headquartered in Chorley, UK with operating subsidiaries in Italy, Germany, Spain and other countries) and TVS Srichakra Ltd (an Italian company based in Milan, Italy operating a tyre business with Eurogrip branded products).
