U.S. Department of Energy selects twenty hydrogen fuel R&D projects for up to USD62m in funding

USA – The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) has announced its selection of twenty projects in the development of hydrogen as a fuel which could receive investments totalling up to USD62m, as part of the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act passed in 2021.

The DOE says that its ‘Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Technologies Office’ will manage the projects, which span fifteen states and cover five topic areas:
