Tamil Nadu government to establish Electric Vehicle (EV) and Future Mobility Park

EV & Future Mobility Park in Shoolagiri

India – The government of Tamil Nadu state is set to support the state to transition to zero emission transport by establishing an Electric Vehicle (EV) and Future Mobility Park for research, development and testing purposes.

The Future Mobility Park is being created on 300 acres in Shoolagiri, Krishnagiri District, at an estimated cost of USD 36.1mn (INR 300CR) to support sustainable and advanced transportation solutions. The Future Mobility Park is to feature a two-lane test track for driven electric vehicles and autonomous vehicles, component and electric vehicle research and testing facilities, and infrastructure service and energy storage development facilities.
