Isuzu begins sales of US-made N-Series EVs in North America

USA / Japan - Isuzu Commercial Truck of America Inc, the north American distributor of Isuzu cab-forward trucks based in Anaheim, California, in August began sales of locally assembled N-series EV battery-powered light trucks in North America, using CKD kits imported from Japan.

The zero-emissions truck is produced under contract at the manufacturing facility of The Shyft Group Inc (formerly know as Spartan Motors Corporation* in Charlotte, Michigan, where the FTR and gasoline-powered N-Series trucks are built. Isuzu also announced it plans to expand its mid-size FTR range in 2026 in response to rising demand.
