Germany – Grammer AG of Ursensollen, Bavaria, maker of seating systems and interior components for commercial vehicles and passenger cars, has launched its New Regio seat at InnoTrans 2024 in Berlin on September 24, 2024. The New Regio is a dedicated regional-transport passenger seat, “engineered for flexibility, sustainability and ergonomic comfort”. Based on a “mono-material construction” that is fully recyclable, it offers modularity across basic and high-end configurations, ideal for city, suburban and commuter bus networks.

Grammer states that New Regio is aimed at improving passenger experience and lowering operational costs. The seat is scheduled for market rollout in mid-2025, with production to be carried out at Grammer’s established Ursensollen manufacturing facility.
