Hexagon Purus to supply hydrogen storage tanks to Gillig buses

USA / Norway Hexagon Purus ASA of Ålesund, Norway, announced that it has signed a long-term agreement with heavy-duty transit bus manufacturer, Gillig LLC, based in Livermore, California, to supply its hydrogen fuel storage tanks for Gillig’s new fuel cell-powered transit buses. These hydrogen storage tanks will be produced at the Hexagon Purus facility in Westminster, Maryland. The timeframe and the quantity of the initial shipment have not been made public. This agreement will help decarbonise the American public transport sector.
