REE enters global manufacturing agreement with Motherson

Israel / India – REE Automotive Ltd of Herzliya, Israel has announced a global partnership with components giant Samvardhana Motherson International Ltd (“Motherson”) of Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India to support the manufacture of REE’s electric vehicle and powertrain products at scale.
Through the manufacturing agreement, REE will benefit from the buying power and industrial capability of the Motherson group, which employs 190,000 people across 400 facilities in 44 countries around the world.1 With Motherson’s network and free capital raised through a new funding round (detailed below), REE intends to scale up production of its ‘REEcorner’ electric drive modules and its ‘P7’ battery electric trucks.
