Hyva celebrates its 45th anniversary

Netherlands – With news of an impending takeover by German truck and trailer components company, Jost-Werke AG, staff at the Hyva Holding BV stand were in a festive mood at the 2024 IAA Transportation event in Hanover last month. The Dutch hydraulic crane and hook-loader specialist based in Alphen aan den Rijn, was celebrating its 45th anniversary. Since 1979, the company has continued to expand into new markets cultivating a global presence by establishing subsidiaries in the USA, Australia and the Far East.
In 2023, Hyva undertook significant business restructuring efforts to enhance its global operations and competitiveness. This restructuring was aimed at improving operational efficiency, strengthening its product portfolio, and positioning itself better for growth in key markets. There was a push to focus on its core markets such as hydraulic tipping systems, cranes, and waste management solutions. The company aimed to streamline operations and enhance its presence in sectors where it already had a competitive edge.
