Canada – Last month, Prevost Car Inc, a coach manufacturer and subsidiary of Volvo Bus Corporation, celebrated its 100th anniversary in its hometown of Sainte-Claire, Quebec.

The culminating event of the company’s centenary celebrations was held in Sainte-Claire, the town where Eugène Prévost, founder of the company, was born in 1898. In attendance was ‘Clarisse’, a hand-built replica of the very first Prevost vehicle which is named after the founder’s wife. Also present at the anniversary were more than 160 recreational vehicles with bus shells made by Prevost.
