IAA Transportation 2024: European market debut of Sunswap’s solar-powered refrigeration technology

Germany – At IAA Transportation 2024, held between 17-22 September in Hanover, Germany, British startup Sunswap Ltd debuted its technology in Europe, showcasing its solar-powered trailer refrigeration unit, ‘Endurance’.

Truck & Bus Builder learned that Sunswap’s marketing efforts are currently focused on the Benelux countries. Markets of interest beyond those are Germany and the Nordics. Continental trailer leasing group TIP is already a supporter of the technology, having agreed to take an initial order of 20 units to trial with its customers.
