Stagecoach to add 715 new battery electric buses to its fleet by April 2025

UK – Scottish public transport operator Stagecoach Group Ltd of Perth has announced that it will add a total of 715 new battery electric buses to its national fleet up to April 2025, following the receipt of government funding to support its acquisitions.

Stagecoach told Truck & Bus Builder that the 715 buses come from a range of different suppliers, including: Alexander Dennis; Wrightbus; Pelican Yutong; and Volvo Buses. Out of the total, 453 will be double deck buses.
