Dongfeng starts light truck sales in Mexico

Mexico / China - Chinese state-owned automaker, Dongfeng Motor Corporation in August announced it has opened its first sales outlet in Mexico, in the city of Toluca, as the company continues its expansion into overseas markets.

The Beijing-headquarteredvehicle maker said the move is a first step in a much broader expansion strategy for the region. The company plans to build an assembly plant in the country to supply its vehicles to markets across Latin America and eventually also to the USA and Canada.
