IAA Transportation 2024: Güriş Group presents electric axle developed with AVL

Prototype e-axle unveiled at Güriş stand at IAA Transportation 2024

Germany – At IAA Transportation 2024, held between 17-22 September in Hanover, Germany, Parsan Machinery Components Industry Co Inc – a subsidiary of Turkish group Güriş Construction Engineering Co Inc – presented a prototype electric axle designed in collaboration with Austrian engineering firm AVL List GmbH.

The e-axle shown at the Güriş stand was a technology demonstrator and is not currently in production. It had two motors, although only one is directly connected to the final drive via the gear mesh. The continuous power output of the e-axle is 400 kilowatts, with a torque of 30,000 Nm; peak power is 540 kW and peak torque 40,000 Nm.
