Vicinity Motor directors resign en masse as company enters receivership

Canada – On 25 October, the entire Board of Directors at Vicinity Motor Corp – a commercial vehicle manufacturer based in Aldergrove, British Columbia – resigned from their positions, following the grant of a petition for receivership of the company by the Royal Bank of Canada.

The directors – including CEO William Trainer, Joseph Miller, Andrew Imanse, Chris Strong, James White, and John LaGourgue – announced their resignation in a press release, stating that “none of the Board Members has been contacted by the Receiver(s),” and that, “as this appointment is considered a ‘Change of Control’, the entire Board […] have resigned”. Tina Stewart, the Chief Financial Officer, has also resigned her role.
