Lat.Bus generates sales of more than 1,300 buses in the Brazilian market

Lat.Bus 2024 live

Brazil - The bus market was shaken up at the beginning of the second half of the year with the holding of Lat.Bus 2024, the largest event focused on road passenger transport in Latin America. Vehicle manufacturers collectively said that they had registered more than 1,300 orders at the show, many of which are expected to be delivered by the end of the year. Orders taken over three days at the fair resulted in the equivalent of almost a month of national production when compared with production data collected by the National Association of Bus Manufacturers (Fabus).

According to Fabus statistics, in the first seven months of 2024, bus production reached 12,872 units, 9.6% higher than the same period in 2023 (11,741 units). Of the total produced, 11,404 vehicles were destined for the domestic market, 10.3% more than in the seven months of 2023 (10,337 units).
