Master Freios signs GBP56m deal to buy European Braking Systems in the UK

UK / Brazil - Master Sistemas Automotivos Ltda* (Master Freios), a manufacturer of brake systems for trucks, buses and trailers, based in Caxias do Sul (RS) – a joint venture subsidiary of Randoncorp and Cummins Inc – has announced it has reached agreement to acquire control of European Braking Systems Ltd of Manchester, UK – an aftermarket supplier of air brake parts and vehicle control systems.
The transaction, which is still subject to regulatory compliance, is worth approximately GBP 56 million pounds (BRA 410 million).
