Fras-le diversifies product portfolio to expand brake business in North American market

Fras-le North America in Alabama

USA / Brazil - Fras-le North America Inc of Prattville Alabama, USA (a subsidiary of Fras-le Mobility of Caxias do Sul, RS, Brazil) is diversifying its product portfolio in North America to expand and grow its business there. Known for its supply of brake pads and linings to both the aftermarket and OE markets for more than 30 years, the company plans to ramp up the supply of brake discs under the Fremax brand and launch heavy-duty shock absorbers under the Nakata brand in the markets of the USA, Canada, and Mexico; these two Fras-le Mobility brands are already well known on the Brazilian market.

To support this growth, Fras-le announced it is investing in its Prattville, Alabama plant, adding an automated linear press and processing line. In addition to the industrial unit in Alabama, it has a sales office in Michigan.
