Solaris wins tender for 45 double-articulated buses for Liège

The Urbino 24 electric by Solaris
Poland / Belgium – Solaris Bus & Coach sp. z o.o. of Bolechowo, Poland has won a tender for 45 “mega electric” (i.e., 24-metre) buses, of which 18 will be delivered to the city of Liège in Belgium.
The ‘Urbino 24’ double-articulated buses will serve on bus rapid transit routes in the city. They will be operated by the transport agency for Wallonia, Opérateur de transport de Wallonie (brand name: TEC), which has specified the buses with ‘MetroStyle’ exteriors.
