Singapore - Commercial vehicle sales in Singapore amounted to 6,287 units in the first nine months of 2024, compared with 7,434 units in the whole of 2023, according to the latest LTA Singapore government registration data.

Demand is being driven by the Singapore government’s transition to clean energy, which aims to switch the country’s entire vehicle fleet to zero emissions by 2040. As part of this process the government has set a target for 30% of the 6,000 buses in operation in the country to be switched to zero-emission vehicles by 2030.
