Rocsys and Aidrivers partner to automate port logistics with self-driving vehicles and hands-free charging

Netherlands / UK – Rocsys BV of Rijswijk, Netherlands has announced a strategic partnership with Aidrivers Ltd of London, UK to automate port logistics with a combination of self-driving terminal tractors and hands-free chargers.

The two companies plan to integrate Rocsys’ ‘ROC-1’ hands-free charger with Aidrivers’ autonomous digital infrastructure which allows terminal tractors to drive themselves safely in the port. With the ROC-1, these vehicles would be able to park up and recharge without any human intervention.
