Cenntro Logistar 450 electric van receives U.S. certification

USA / Canada - Electric commercial vehicle manufacturing start-up, Cenntro Inc based in Freehold, New Jersey, (owned by Cenntro Electric Group Ltd based in Hong Kong*), announced that its Logistar 450 electric van has received approval from the California Air Resources Board (“CARB”) and a certificate from the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), meaning that the van qualifies for state and federal funding.

Production of the Logistar 450 electric van (class 4) will take place in Ontario, Canada to serve the North American market and in its Chinese factory to serve global markets. The vehicle is available in four different configurations depending on the application. There is a delivery van (LS450DV), cargo truck (LS450CT), shuttle bus (LS450BUS), and refrigerated truck (LS450RT).
