USA / Sweden – Vehicle fire suppression systems specialist, Dafo Vehicle Fire Protection AB of Tyresö, Sweden, has been acquired by the Exton, Pennsylvania, USA-based United Safety & Survivability Corporation* (USSC) to expand its product portfolio in fire suppression systems, particularly for specialised vehicle applications like mining, forestry, public transit, and heavy equipment. The acquisition supports USSC's strategy to broaden its portfolio of safety solutions and enter new markets with Dafo’s advanced fire suppression technologies. These include systems tailored to vehicles operating in harsh or high-risk environments, emphasising reliability, easy maintenance and reduced downtime​. The financial terms of the acquisition have not been disclosed publicly.
