USA / Germany – Avon, Ohio-based Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems LLC has launched its next-generation software designed to enhance the maintenance and troubleshooting of commercial vehicle braking systems. The Bendix ACom AE Diagnostic Tool replaces the earlier ACom PRO software. Built in collaboration with Cojali and based on Cojali’s Jaltest platform, ACom AE brings advanced diagnostic capabilities tailored to the electronic systems in new modern electric commercial vehicles. The software is now available on a subscription service for USD 459 per year.  

The Bendix ACom AE Diagnostic Tool is specifically designed for CVs as it focuses on advanced systems found in medium and heavy-duty trucks and trailers, such as electronic braking, air treatment systems, and driver assistance technologies. The tool supports Bendix’s proprietary systems like ABS, automatic traction control, stability control, which are typically not found in passenger cars as well as tyre pressure monitoring. Its capabilities include diagnosing and troubleshooting issues in commercial vehicle components such as Global Scalable Brake Control (GSBC) and Global Scalable Air Treatment (GSAT). These features have been designed to minimise vehicle downtime and ultimately improve CV Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).
