ChargePoint debuts new level 2 electric LCV charger

ChargePoint CPF50 for LCV operators

USA – American electric solutions provider, ChargePoint Holdings Inc, based in Campbell, California, debuted its new level 2 electric light commercial vehicle charger. Priced at USD 699, ChargePoint says that at this price it’s CPF50 allows more fleets to go electric by lowering the price of charging infrastructure. The product offers a maximum output of 12 kW (240V AC at 50A) per port and supports both single and dual-port configurations. Compatible with all EVs, the product adheres to SAE J1772 and SAE J3400 safety standards (NACS).

ChargePoint says that the chargers are optimised when using its in-house fleet management software, which provides information on station status, pre-booking charging slots, power usage and several other energy management tools increasing fleet efficiency and lowering total cost of ownership (TCO).
