Jost joins trailer aerodynamics organisation AeroAlliance

AeroAlliance

Germany – German truck and trailer components company, Jost-Werke AG has joined the AeroAlliance organisation, to “collaborate on innovative aerodynamic solutions for trailers.” Jost will work alongside other members including Hesterberg*, HS Schoch** and System Trailers*** to improve energy efficiency in commercial vehicle fleets in order to meet the EU’s climate goals (reducing fuel consumption by 10% for semi-trailers and 7.5% for trailers by 2030). This mandate is part of the EU's "Fit for 55" initiative. The organisation pools resources and expertise with other industry leaders to overcome the high costs and complexity of regulatory approvals for aerodynamic technologies. This aligns with JOST's focus on sustainability.

*Hesterberg & Söhne GmbH & Co. KG, are a leading international manufacturer of fastener and superstructure technology for the commercial vehicle industry.
