Mahle Powertrain LLC's headquarters in Plymouth, Michigan

Germany / USAMahle GmbH, a German supplier of components for powertrain systems and vehicle subsystems, has announced its plan to sell its American engineering services business to the Dumarey Group, an investment portfolio company owned by Belgian entrepreneur Guido Dumarey.

The transaction concerns ‘Mahle Powertrain LLC’, a subsidiary based in Plymouth, Michigan. Its seventy or so employees provide engineering and consultancy services for the design, testing, development, calibration, and integration of electric and hybrid powertrains. Mahle has emphasised that the sale does not affect its ‘Mahle Powertrain’ subsidiaries in other countries, including Mahle Powertrain Ltd of Northampton, UK.
