MCI receives order for 80 coaches from Toronto

USA / Canada – Motor Coach Industries, a subsidiary of NFI Group based in Des Plaines, Illinois, USA, has announced a contract for at least 80 diesel coaches with Metrolinx, a transport agency serving the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area in the Canadian province of Ontario.

The contract stipulates a firm order for eighty 45-foot ‘D45 CRT’ commuter coaches, with additional unspecified options. Metrolinx will pay MCI in instalments as production and delivery milestones are met.
