Germany / Italy – The e-mobility division of tech giant Siemens AG of Munich, Bavaria, Germany has agreed to install 73 charging points in Tuscany and equip over 120 logistics sites with charging infrastructure across Italy, following two deals announced earlier this month.

The first deal agreed by Siemens is with Autolinee Toscane SpA, a subsidiary of the RATP Group and a public transport provider in the Italian region of Tuscany. Siemens will install a total of 73 ‘SiCharge UC’ charging points, with outputs between 100 and 150 kilowatts, in bus depots serving Florence, Prato, and Lucca. Siemens will also supply medium- and low-voltage electrical distribution systems as well as ‘DepotFinity’, its software platform for charging infrastructure management.
