Jost finalises takeover of Hyva for USD398m

Germany – Last year at the IAA Transportation 2024 event, German truck and trailer components company Jost-Werke AG announced plans to acquire Dutch hydraulic crane and hook-loader specialist, Hyva Holding BV of Alphen aan den Rijn. The deal has now been finalised after the necessary contractual and regulatory approvals for a total of USD 398 million, financed through a combination of cash and debt.

This acquisition will enhance JOST's portfolio, particularly in hydraulic systems used in transport, agriculture, and infrastructure industries and will grow its regional presence, particularly in Asia and the Americas.
