KGM, Phinia Delphi to co-develop hydrogen engine

KGM and Phinia Delph representatives sign hydrogen engine collaboration agreement

South Korea / FranceKG Mobility Corporation (KGM), headquartered in Pyeongtaek – just south of the South Korean capital Seoul, signed an agreement in January with Phinia Delphi France SA of Blois, France to collaborate in the development of a hydrogen internal combustion engine (ICE) for commercial vehicles.

According to the technology collaboration agreement, KGM and Phinia Delphi will work together as part of a South Korean government-sponsored project involving the Korea Automotive Technology Institute, to develop a low-cost hydrogen engine for light commercial vehicles.
