Finland — Last year at the Advanced Clean Technology Expo (ACT Expo) in Las Vegas, T&BB witnessed the megawatt charging prototype from Finnish electric charging provider Kempower OYJ, based in Lahti, Finland. The company announced that it has begun shipping pilot deliveries from its European factories to select clients.

The Kempower Megawatt Charging System (MCS) is designed to charge high-powered EVs such as electric HGV trucks. The 1.2 MW chargers are expected to go into series production later this year and initially, will be rolled out in Finland and then later to other parts of Continental Europe and North America.
