Oxon Technologies launches drop-in truck fuel for 20%+ CO2 reduction

USAOxon Technologies of Henderson, Nevada has launched a drop-in fuel for diesel trucks that can cut CO2 emissions by over 20% and fuel consumption by over 10%, without any need to modify the engine.

‘OxonDrive’ is a product for commercial vehicles which is based on the company’s patented “OxonTech”. The patented method involves the introduction of nano-micelles – or “charged micro-clusters of organic molecules” – directly into liquid fuels, dispersing amongst the hydrocarbon molecules. The nano-micelles contribute free radicals the promote faster combustion, therefore reducing fuel consumption. They also minimise oxygen-nitrogen collisions, thus cutting emissions of nitrogen oxide (NOx).
