Thermo King launches trailer health telematics solution for North America

USA – Thermo King Corporation of Bloomington, Minnesota has launched a new telematics solution, designed to track the “health” of the refrigerated trailer and enable operators to carry out proactive maintenance of parts before they fail.

‘TracKing Smart Trailer’ is designed to complement the company’s existing telematics solution, ‘TracKing Pro’, which was launched in North America in 2023. Whereas TracKing Pro tracks energy consumption, TracKing Smart Trailer collects data on “critical trailer components” such as tyre pressure, brake health, door position, lights, and axle weight.
